Centrifugal Casting

In this process, the metal is forced from the central axis of the equipment to individual mold cavities which are placed on the circumference. This increases the filling pressure within each mold and allows reproduction of minute details. Different molding methods are adapted to the process. The unit costs of centrifuged castings depend to a large extent on the type of mold used.
