forming process (or cold heading process) is one of the metal casting
processes in which forces greater than a metal's elastic limit is used to
form various shapes. Main feature of this process is that it does not cause
scrap material. Cold forming process is a better alternative in terms of
cost, because raw material can be the most expensive aspect of metal
casting. And it causes less scrap material compared to screw machining and
