Cold Forming Process

Cold Forming ProcessCold forming process (or cold heading process) is one of the metal casting processes in which forces greater than a metal's elastic limit is used to form various shapes. Main feature of this process is that it does not cause scrap material. Cold forming process is a better alternative in terms of cost, because raw material can be the most expensive aspect of metal casting. And it causes less scrap material compared to screw machining and other casting process.

Advantages of Cold Forming:
Quality
Flexibility in Design
Economical
