Description |
| No. 1 Heavy Scrap Copper |
It consists of clean unalloyed copper solids and must be
uncoated. It may also include copper clippings, punchings, bus bars,
commutator segments, clean copper pipe or tubing and copper wire
over 1/16th thick but free of brittle or burnt wire. |
| No. 2 Scrap Copper |
It consists of clean unalloyed copper solids. May also include
clean, oxidized or coated copper clippings, bus bars, punchings,
clean oxidized copper tubing or pipe free of excessive solder and
light gauze clean. It should be free of exuberant oxidation, ash,
scale or brittle burnt wire. |
| Soldered Copper Pipe |
Soldered Copper Pipe includes assorted copper pipe with
soldered ends or joints, free of bronze or brass or non-copper
fittings. |
| Beryllium Copper |
It consists of clean beryllium alloyed copper solids, and may
also contain punchings, clippings, bar or pipe, tubing & elbows.

| Light Scrap Copper |
It consists of multifarious, unalloyed copper solids. May
contain sheet copper, kettles, boilers, gutters, downspouts, foil
and unburned hair wire. May include any thin gauze, high surface
area solid copper, which only has surface oxidation. |
| Copper Turnings |
Copper turnings consist of unalloyed copper turnings borings or
grindings, and may be contaminated with cutting oils. |
| No. 1 Bare Bright Copper
Wire |
It consists of bare, unalloyed, uncoated copper wire, not
smaller than 16 gauze. |
| No. 1 Copper Wire |
It consists of clean, unalloyed, uncoated copper wire, not
smaller than 16 gauze. |
| No. 2 Copper Wire |
This grade of copper contains clean unalloyed copper wire, free
of hair wire, brittle burnt wire and surplus oils. |
| No. 1 Copper Wire Nodules |
It shall include no. 1 bare, unalloyed uncoated, copper wire
nodules, from a shredding or chopping operation, not smaller than 16
gauze. |
| No. 2 Copper Wire Nodules |
No.2 copper wire nodules consists of No 2 unalloyed copper wire
nodules, from a shredding or chopping operation. |
| No. 1 Insulated Copper
Wire |
It includes plastic insulated uncoated, unalloyed, (plated)
copper wire. Copper wire should not be smaller than 16 gauze. |
| No. 2 Insulated Copper
Wire |
No.2 insulated copper wire consists of assorted plastic
insulated, unalloyed copper wire, free of double or heavy
insulation. |
| No. 3 Insulated Copper
Wire |
This grade of copper shall consist of assorted plastic
insulated, unalloyed copper wire. It includes heavy or double
insulation, plastic insulated telephone cable. |
| Copper / Aluminum BX
Cable |
It includes plastic insulated copper wire, armor coated with a
casing of aluminum. |
| Copper / Steel BX Cable |
Copper / steel BX cable shall consist of plastic insulated
copper wire and armor coated with a casing of steel. |
| Copper / Fractional Electric Motors |
It includes electric motors & small copper coil windings
from motors with size less than 1 horsepower. |
| Copper / Large Electric Motors |
It consists of electric motors & large copper coil windings
from motors with size larger than 1 horsepower. |
| Copper / Sealed Motors |
It contains sealed electric compressor motors derived from
common Refrigerators & freezers. |
| Copper Aluminum Rads |
It consists of unalloyed copper tubing surrounded by aluminum
cooling fins that are derived from typical heat exchange radiators. |
| Copper Content |
It comprises of assorted materials, which have a copper content
of not less than 30% by weight. It may include plating racks,
commutators, armatures, irony copper, laminated items, electronic
breakage, brittle burnt wires and copper scale. |
| Other Scrap Copper |
It include items or materials, which are not included in any
other copper grade. |
